The Perfect Lobster Roll
This recipe yields the finest Lobster Rolls you will ever try!
Frozen Raw Boston Lobster 400-500 grams
Ingredients for 3-4 Rolls
- 1 lb bag of cooked lobster meat
- 3-4 brioche hot dog buns (or any soft roll)
- 2 table spoons of browned unsalted butter
- 1 table spoon softened butter
- 2 table spoons mayonnaise
- half stick celery (finely chopped)
- 1 tspn horseradish
- 1 tspn lemon juice
- 1 tspn Worcestershire sauce
- Dash hot sauce to taste
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Method
- Defrost the lobster meat and allow to get to room temperature, chop into thumb sized pieces and place in a bowl
- Take ο»Ώ2 spoons of butter and brown in a small pan add to the lobster mix
- Add the rest of the ingredients and combine
- Butter the inside of the rolls and fry butter side down in a frying pan until the insides turn golden brown
- Spoon the Lobster mix into the rolls and serve with a wedge of lemon and potato chips
- Sprinkle with chopped chives and paprika - optional
