Human Resource Manager
Steak King is a multi-outlet; retail, restaurant and foodservice company that is rapidly expanding and has plans to continue to grow over the next few years. We realize we will only ever be as good as the team we have behind us and want to develop our already amazing team into something that is admired throughout our industry. At present we have a small tight-knit group of around 50 individuals from all walks of life, most of which have the business's best interest at heart and want to help the company grow both quickly and successfully. We are looking for an HR Manager that can harness the existing culture and help retain it as we grow from 50 to 100 like-minded people
We are looking for an individual to develop and maintain and oversee our Human resources department, the ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resource responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. He/she will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
What you will be doing:
Create and nurture a positive working environment that is fun, creative and encourages young and motivated people to grow quickly within the organization
Plan bi-monthly management and staff team building programs that are fun and create a family environment
Manage the HR software platform (INFOTECH) that will help you manage; payroll, track holidays, sick days maternity leave, and plan rosters etc…
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issue
Work with the CEO to manage the recruitment and selection process
Oversee induction programs for onboarding staff plus for exiting staff
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of our team members – we spend a lot of time and effort to find the right people – we want to keep them!
Maintain pay plan and benefits program including MPF
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs

Passionate about Food & Beverage, experience in working in Food & Beverage is preferred.
Proven working experience as HR Manager or Assistant HR Manager with a restaurant or retail organization, however attitude and passion will always outweigh experience from our point of view, as such young candidates looking for a break should also apply
People-oriented with a natural disposition to want to help people grow and develop
Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
An understanding of HK law and HR best practices
