Not all Fish & Chips Are Made The Same…. Starting Friday 15th January The Factory in Wong Chuk Hang is serving up traditional fish  and chips with all the trimmings that you might expect in a British Seaside town.  The Fish is Atlantic Cod, imported from the UK and was sustainably harvested and accredited by the Marine Stewardship Council – so you don’t need to feel guilty about enjoying this juicy sweet and flaky delicacy. The batter is made from beer and sourdough bread starter – making it light yet crunchy!

The Chips are thick cut and crunchy – none of these shoe-string fries here. As an add on ($30) you can choose between the traditional Mushy Peas or the house special Chip Shop Curry Sauce. The latter is a staple in the North or England and nobody is sure where it came from but for some reason it works – especially on a cold winters day. The drink of choice to accompany your meal should be a pot of Strong English Tea ($30) and if you are very hungry, top up with a serving of White Sliced Bread and Butter. This is how its done in the UK!

When and Where? Starting Friday 15th of January at the Factory which is situated on the 16F of Kwai Bo Industrial Building, 40 Wong Chuk Hang Road. Take Exit B from the Wong Chuk Hang MTR and walk a mere 100 meters and you will find our building – connected to the walkway. Take the lift up to the 16th Floor.

The Factory is a 5000 SF restaurant and event space managed by Johnny Glover (Butchers Club) and Chef Brandon Tomkinson (London House & Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay) Lunch Service starts at 12 noon and finishes at 3pm.
