  • These frozen Ribeye steaks are functional and VERY cost effective. At $38 per steak you can feed an army with 2kg of this budget steak and at just $388, you'll be saving a packet too.
  • Please note, this is SA grass fed beef, the colour of the meat may be darker then what you are used to and the fat may have a yellow tinge. The flavour may have a stronger 'beef' flavour and the texture might be firmer/more chewy compared to our chilled Australian Ribeye's
  • To get the best out of this ribeye defrost it slowly in your fridge for a day or overnight and then marinate it for 4 hours at room temperature in olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and a slice of mashed up kiwi fruit, this will soften the meat considerably.
  • Grill it over really high heat for 2 minutes per side and rest for 10 minutes before slicing into thinnish slices before serving.

Ribeye steak, AKA Scotch Fillet or Entrecote. is a cut out meat taken from the cow's beef rib. With a rich texture and flavour, this is considered one of the finest cuts of beef, especially with high-grade marbling.
