With this convenient and delicious burger kit you can easily whip up the famous Flat Iron Burger at home. Every single ingredient you need to build the burger of your dreams is included in this kit. 

Kit includes:

  • 1 kg of our Black Angus burger blend ground beef (Contains Rump, Chuck & Brisket) which gives it the perfect combination of; flavour, juiciness and texture.
  • 6 sesame brioche buns from Bakehouse
  • 6 slices of dry cures smoked bacon
  • 6 slices of American Cheddar Cheese
  • A pot of our secret recipe burger sauce
  • A pot of our house made pickles
Cooking
  1. Defrost the block of burger mince (preferably in your fridge overnight) and form into 6 patties, season well with salt and pepper and grill on the bbq or fry in a pan (No oil is needed) cook for around 3 minutes on each side.
  2. Add the cheese to the patties and allow to melt slightly. Let the patties rest in a warm place for around 2-3 minutes (this will allow the meat to rest and stop juices oozing out later)
  3. Defrost the Buns and butter them liberally, then toast in a pan or on the BBQ
  4. Cook the bacon on a flat grill or in a pan and set aside
  5. Assemble the burgers by spooning some sauce on the top part of the toasted bun, place the pickles on the bottom bun followed by the cooked patties then the bacon
  6. Sit back and admire your handy work with an ice cold beer or a glass of red. This will be the best burger you ever made!
