The Hampshire Breed is renowned for being one of the oldest and leanest pig breeds. Characterized by a black coat with a distinctive white belt across the shoulders and front legs, it was first documented in Ireland as “Old English” in 1825. 

The Irish Hampshire pigs are raised traditionally, resulting in exceptionally tender and flavorful pork, thanks to a diet of home-milled grains and a traditional hanging production process.
