About

Tomahawk steaks are typically cut from the sixth to eighth rib of the cow and are renowned for their exceptional marbling and tenderness which comes naturally from the attached bone. Toss one of these bad-boys on your grill and you're bound to impress your guests!

Cooking

How to Cook a Tomahawk Steak?

  1. Get your tomahawk steak ready and give it some love with a generous seasoning of salt and pepper. Don't hold back!
  2. Heat up a sizzling hot pan and sear that bad boy for about 2 minutes on each side. Get that beautiful crust going.
  3. Once you've achieved that perfect sear, transfer your tomahawk to a hot oven preheated to 180°C (350°F) and let it roast for around 15 to 20 minutes. Keep an eye on it until it reaches an internal temperature of 50°C (120°F) for that juicy goodness.
  4. Now, here's the hard part—let it rest for a further 15 minutes. We know it's tempting, but trust us, this step is crucial for all those mouthwatering juices to redistribute and make your taste buds dance.
  5. Once the resting period is over, it's time to carve this beauty off the bone. Slice each succulent piece to your desired thickness and arrange them back around the bone for that impressive presentation.
  6. And VOILA! You've mastered the art of cooking a tomahawk steak. Now it's time to dig in and savor every flavorful bite. Enjoy!
