Hong Kong Italophiles rejoice, another Italian-style eatery is coming to the territory. The Lasagna Factory is opening on Hollywood Road in August, featuring comfort food and communal dining from the team behind Flat Iron. 

The Lasagna Factory is inspired by the recipes of one Italian nonna; the venue's executive chef channels his childhood afternoons spent in the kitchen with his grandmother, pulling together wagyu beef meatballs in tomato ragu, tortellini alla ragu tossed in butter sauce with bolognese, parmesan cheese and fresh organo, nonna’s moreish garlic bread - and (natch) three signature lasagnas.

The wagyu short rib lasagna is layered with 24-hour slow-braised beef and silky sheets of pasta, while the sand crab lasagna in vodka sauce is sweet and rich with a tangy taste. The organic mushroom lasagna is packed with the earthy depth of mushrooms and fresh herbs. If you don’t fancy lasagna, sharing steaks are also available.

For pud, tuck into classic tiramisu scooped straight from the serving bowl and dished out tableside, or there’s housemade gelato and vanilla panna cotta.
