Steak-King enters a partnership with HKDR

We are very excited to announce our partnership with Hong Kong Dog Rescue starting beginning of September 2025.

The partnership includes a weekly meat donation for Tai Po large dogs campus. The donation is averaging 80Kgs of fresh meat, bones, fish and chicken. It also includes a monthly financial donation. Steak-King customers can purchase an HKDR donation voucher on the website and Steak-King matches the donation up to 20HK$ per customer donation.

HKDR is doing so much for our Hong Kong Dogs, they deserve to be supported! This way, Steak-King shows its ongoing commitment to make Hong Kong a better place, by engaging in concrete measures.

HKDR was founded in 2003 for the specific purpose of saving dogs and puppies from the Hong Kong Government’s Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) Animal Management Centres.  However these days most of our dogs and puppies come from different sources, and very few from AFCD.  HKDR has now rescued, cared for and re-homed more than 10,000 dogs and puppies while being almost entirely funded by private donations, sales of HKDR merchandise and fundraising events. HKDR is proud to be a No Kill Organisation, meaning that no dog under its care will be euthanised for any reason other than when it is the only humane option.
