Coffin Bay Oysters show a creamy, plump body with a clean finish. The shell is triangular in shape and is reasonably smooth with a pale edge meat. The medium size oyster from this region are full without being invasive.  The oysters are rich and has a soft, creamy flesh when raw, turning brownish-grey when cooked.
