Dr. Sutton will be running an intro into coffee and coffee pouring through a professional espresso machine. The class starts with a basic history of coffee, all you need to know about the bean (Cherries), growing climates, plus production and roasting methods.
The second part is the practical experience of the class. Students will learn how to extract an espresso to perfection, plus how to make the standard coffees that every professional barista must know. This is highly recommended for interested coffee enthusiasts wanting to explore the world of coffee but who might be a little shy or scared to ask those stupid questions! We are also demonstrating a semi-professional espresso machine (for home use) by Dalla Corte
